Club Atlético Aldosivi has signed Axel Werner on loan from Rosario Central. The former Atlético de Madrid and Boca Juniors goalkeeper joins the Tiburón in Mar del Plata. Werner leaves Rosario Central and becomes a reinforcement for Guillermo Farré. Farré's decision to add another goalkeeper was linked to the injury of Sebastián Moyano, which left Aldosivi with fewer options under the three posts. Werner, without a place in Central after the arrival of Jeremías Ledesma, trained apart from the team and barely had action in 2025, although when he played, he kept the goal in zero. Additionally, he was close to joining Estudiantes de Río Cuarto, but opted for the Tiburón. Axel Werner is from Rafaela, Santa Fe, and debuted in 2015 as a professional player in Atlético de Rafaela. After three years in the Crema, the goalkeeper made a big step and joined Atlético de Madrid, which automatically loaned him to Boca, where in the 2016/17 season he was crowned champion of the First Division. In the Xeneize, he barely played two games and received three goals. After his stint in Boca, he returned to Atlético de Madrid and was crowned champion of the UEFA Europa League, although he barely played three games with the Colchonero (two for that tournament). He then passed through Huesca, Málaga, Atlético San Luis, Elche, Arsenal, and finally Rosario Central, where he was champion of the Copa de la Liga 2023 and the First Division 2025. The Aldosivi transfer market has been active in the 2025 season, with several arrivals and departures.
